Written Demands, Complaints, & Investigations
Demands & Complaints for Wages: If an employer owes you earnings, you can send your employer a written need for payment of earnings by mail, e-mail, employment text message, or other electronic means. A written need might be sent to the employer at the same time a Labor Standards Complaint Form for overdue earnings is submitted with the Division. The Labor Standards Complaint Form can be discovered on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements web page.
Employer Responses in Investigations: employment Once a total Labor Standards Complaint Form is gotten and reviewed, a letter discussing the nature of the grievance and the amounts declared to be owed is sent to the employer. To find out more about the examination process, please examine the Wage & Hour Claim Investigations – Employer FAQs webpage.
Investigations Launched by the Division (” Direct Investigations”): employment The Division may carry out employer-wide direct investigations of potential infractions of and hour law. If you want to submit an idea, please email the Division at [email protected]. If you would like to submit a specific claim for employment overdue incomes, you should submit a Labor Standards Complaint Form on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements website. To appeal a direct examination citation or several Notices of Assessment, a supposed company may send a Direct Investigation Appeal Form.
